¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ is holding a by-election for one vacancy in Ward 2, Kintyre and the Islands, on Thursday 18 July 2024.

Learning life skills, a love and respect for the outdoors, being respectful and self-improvement are just some of the priorities for young people across ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute who have provided essential insight as part of an Education consultation, that looks to shape the future of education services.

Ensuring young people develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the world of work by connecting them and their schools with employers, is having a positive effect across ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute.

Ukrainians have praised communities in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute and the Council for making them feel welcome and providing them with a safe environment to help rebuild their lives.

Pupils from Lochgilphead High School will try their hands at joinery, roofing, plumbing, and brickwork when they attend a series of traditional skills workshops funded and delivered by ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥â€™s Lochgilphead Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme (CARS).
