Ambitious plans to build hundreds of new affordable homes across ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute have been unveiled as part of the latest update to the area’s Strategic Housing Investment Plan (SHIP).

Councillors have approved plans to boost ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute’s economy by bringing empty business properties back into use throughout the area.

¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute is one of a small number of council areas in Scotland to receive levelling up funding - £20 million – announced in yesterday’s UK Government Autumn Statement.
