New figures just released show that 95.6% of 16-19 year olds in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute are currently in education, training or employment, an increase of 1.7% on 2022 and 1.3% above the national figure of 94.3%.

Dunoon Primary School has become the latest school in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute to receive a gold award in UNICEF UK’s Rights Respecting School Programme.

A new counselling service in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute’s schools to support young people’s mental health is hitting the mark with pupils and parents.

Raising attainment and delivering positive outcomes for Care Experienced Children and Young People (CECYP) across ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute will continue to be a key priority for the council in the year ahead.

There will be some changes to bin collections in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute during the festive period.

Councillors have agreed to take forward a series of projects that will help to address biodiversity loss and climate change in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute.
