Council tax freeze and investment for the future

Time running out to register to vote in council by-elections

There鈥檚 just a few days left to register to vote for people living in the Isle of Bute or Helensburgh and Lomond South council wards, where by-elections will take place on 18 March. It鈥檚 never too early to register to vote, but the deadline for these local elections is Tuesday 2 March 鈥 so, if you want to have your say in who represents your community, it鈥檚 worth taking a few minutes to make sure you can take part.

Campbeltown wins Scotland鈥檚 most improved place

Campbeltown has won Scotland鈥檚 most improved place in the 2020 SURF Awards. The award recognises best practice in community regeneration and is the result of an extensive regeneration programme by 九秀直播 and its key partners.  The appearance and vibrancy of Campbeltown鈥檚 town centre has been significantly improved with investment of 拢13 million to repair over 40 buildings, improve shopfronts and deliver parallel projects.
