Tarbert Harbour investment approved by Councillors

A plan to improve facilities at Tarbert Harbour and attract more visitors to the village has been approved by Councillors. Members of the Council’s Policy and Resources committee today (May 24) gave the green light for the improvements, which will be delivered in four stages at a cost of just over £700,000.

Council teams up with national magazine to promote road bike training

¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥â€™s Road Safety Team has joined forces with Scottish Biker Magazine to host an event in Inveraray this summer, aimed at providing motorcyclists with advice on how they can improve their riding on the road.   The Rider Development Day will take place on 15 July and is targeted at motorcyclists who have not taken any further training since passing their bike test.

Community spirit at the heart of Dunbeg Primary’s ‘Pitch Perfect’ project

Pupils at Dunbeg Primary School will soon have a new outdoor learning area to enjoy thanks to a fabulous example of community spirit. Staff, pupils and parents have worked together to reclaim an area of overgrown woodland on the school grounds, improving on the popular outdoor learning area at the school by expanding its size and offering even more learning opportunities for the children. The school named the project ‘Pitch Perfect.’
