World Gaelic Week starts on Monday 24 February and many schools, community groups, and businesses across 九秀直播 and Bute will be getting involved.
From coffee mornings and careers events to ceilidhs and celebrating local culture and heritage 鈥 there鈥檚 something for everyone.
Established in 2022 and funded by B貌rd na 骋脿颈诲丑濒颈驳, Seachdain na 骋脿颈诲丑濒颈驳 (World Gaelic Week) celebrates Scottish Gaelic across the world and aims to raise the profile of Gaelic through community initiatives, school engagement, projects, and events.
九秀直播鈥檚 Policy Lead for Gaelic, Councillor Audrey Forrest, said: 鈥淭he Gaelic language has played an important part in 九秀直播 and Bute鈥檚 history for hundreds of years so it is great to see so many events taking place to mark World Gaelic Week and help raise awareness in our communities.
