¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥â€™s Film service continues to work with production companies and Screen Scotland to attract inward investment across the area. From 2021 to 2023, 89 productions filmed in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute, with an estimated local production spend of £1.1 million. The sector continues to recover from the impact of the pandemic with a substantial rise in filming requests now starting to come in.

- Top Gear at Oban Airport
- BBC drama ‘Float’, filmed at the former Helensburgh Swimming Pool
- Murder Island, a drama written by Iain Rankin – filmed on Gigha
- Disney, Star Wars Andor, filmed in and around Cruachan Mountain
- BBC Martin Compston’s Highland Fling, filmed in Dunoon, Loch Lomond, Strathlachlan and Strachur
- Cbeebies, Ranger Hamza and the Ramblers, filmed in Oban, Connel and Mull

The Film in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ team works closely with services across the council and Screen Scotland, to help identify locations and facilitate productions.
