People in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute can access a wide variety of support and advice during the cost of living crisis thanks to a useful new section on the council website.
The council’s advice services pages are a great way for people to find out what help is available, and include lots of useful information such as how to save on your energy bills, and tips on how to feed your family for less, as well as a handy budget calculator.
¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Leader Robin Currie said: “Rising costs of food, energy bills, rent and mortgages, means that more and more people are struggling to cope. We know that many people are worried, so we have created a one-stop-shop so people can see what help and advice is available, from both our partners and ourselves, at the touch of a button.
“The advice pages have information about everything from meal planners and grants, to advice on how to cut down on food waste, and emergency support measures.
“We know that many people are not actually claiming benefits that they are eligible for, so there is also a useful section to help you make sure you are not missing out on entitlement to both UK and Scottish Government administered benefits and other related help.
“These pages are a great tool for people to use during this difficult time, and I would urge everyone to go on and have a look.â€
