¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ has opened this year’s Supporting Communities Fund to help community groups across the area deliver a variety of projects.
The fund has previously supported initiatives including; improvements to village halls, help with sport and recreation clubs, climate friendly projects, music making, and art classes.
More information including an application form is available on the council website /council-and-government/third-sector-grants. Deadline for applying is 30th March 2023.
The fund supports projects based on the following themes:
- Fairer Communities – tackling poverty by sharing opportunities
- Resilient Communities – capacity building, as well as repairing and rebuilding from the pandemic
- Greener, Cleaner Communities – environmental action to support addressing climate change
- Creative Communities - creativity for health and wellbeing.
