¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥

Bus services survey begins

¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ is asking for your views on its bus services, as part of its work to prepare for setting its budget next year.

Estimates show that the council should prepare to bridge a funding gap of around £6.7 million in 2021/22.

One of the steps the council is taking to do that involves assessing how it could work differently, together and with partners, in key areas of work including the delivery of public and school bus services.

The survey seeks feedback from people who use bus services and those who do not.

Councillor Gary Mulvaney, Policy Lead for Financial Services said:

“Planning and delivering public transport is especially challenging in an area as big and diverse as ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Bute. What works as a solution in one area may not be what works best in another. Feedback will help develop options for bus services in the longer term.â€

The survey runs until Tuesday 24 November 2020 and can be accessed via this link.
