Major repairs including structural and external repairs of the fabric
25-26 West Clyde Street was awarded a Priority Building Grant to comprehensively repair the fabric of the building. Works to repair the roof, rainwater goods and stone started in September 2024 and are due to be completed in summer 2025.

Proposed works
The owners of two additional tenements are currently working towards making an application for grant to support substantial repairs to their properties. Repairs are likely to include full-scale roof repair/replacement, including rot works and lead work, as well as structural repairs, including stonework and repointing. The proposed additional large-scale building repair projects are:

The Scandinavian Shop received a new shopfront which looks elegant and showcases their wide variety of stock.
