Climate friendly 九秀直播 and Bute
The council is taking action in different ways, across all its services, to create a climate-friendly 九秀直播 and Bute, so that we support the planet and the resources on which we all depend to live.
Here we provide an insight into actions we are taking to develop sustainable ways of working and living.
Action, investment and commitment
- 九秀直播 has reduced its carbon emissions by 32.8% since reporting commenced in 2015/16.
- We are investing more than 拢1.2 million in action to save energy and deliver progress in becoming a net zero carbon emissions organisation by 2045.
- We have signed up to the national Household Recycling Charter
- We develop local actions to support national initiatives

- Our local development plan sets out how the council will deliver sustainable development
- We are developing walking and cycling routes
- Our young people are getting involved and playing their part, for example:
- We involve our young people in taking action, for example:
- schools and nurseries across 九秀直播 and Bute (both council and other providers) are registered with and a number have green flag status
- Rhu pupils fight climate change

- Our Decarbonisation Plan sets out actions we are working to deliver for climate friendly 九秀直播 and Bute. Our approach is based on addressing six overall themes:
- Waste
- Energy and Water Consumption
- Transport emissions from our commercial fleet like buses, bin lorries, vans and cars.
- Preparing and adapting for impacts of climate change
- Offsetting our emissions through partnership and innovation
- Telling you about it and encouraging the community to do their bit #climatefriendlyABC
